Vilano Beach

Vilano Beach is located two miles from St. Augustine in Northeast Florida’s St. Johns County. The area lies between the Atlantic Ocean and the Tolomato River. Vilano Beach offers a big variation of restaurants with an ocean view. If you’re lucky you will see sea turtles nests on the beach. This beach’s sand might not be as fine as Anastasia Island’s Beaches, mostly due to the shells around.

The waves are generally much bigger here so be careful with the sea currents.

However, if you do not want to bring tons of sand home with you and enjoy looking at the surfers this is the place for you. This is a really beautiful beach and it is located a lot closer to the historic district than all the other beaches.
